San Diego (North), CA:

Take Interstate 15 south (from Escondido) or north (from San Diego). Exit at Mira Mesa Blvd in the left lane. If you were traveling north, turn left to cross under I-15; if you were traveling south, turn right.
Turn left at Westview Parkway and turn left immediately into the shopping center. Panera is in the same building as the Barnes & Noble, but at the west end near the Edwards cinema.
El Cajon, CA:
First United Methodist Church

From the west, take Interstate 8 eastbound (direction El Cajon/El Centro); exit at El Cajon Blvd in the far right lane onto Chase Ave. At Johnson Ave, turn left. First United Methodist Church is on the left just past Grant Av. Park on Johnson or Grant Aves.
From the south, take SR 94 or SR 54 east or SR 125 (toll) north to SR 125 (free) north; at Interstate 8, go east and continue as above.
From the north, take Interstate 15 south to Interstate 8 and continue as above.
Alternative from Ramona: Take SR 67 south; where it dead-ends into Interstate 8, take Magnolia Ave south and continue as below.
From the east, take Interstate 8 west (direction San Diego) to Magnolia Ave southbound/downtown. Continue on Magnolia Ave to Washington Ave and turn right (west); at Johnson Ave, turn left (south). First United Methodist Church is on the right.
Enter First UMC through the church office door on Johnson Ave.

Starbucks is (1) at Main St and Magnolia Ave; (2) on E. Chase Ave. two or three blocks east of Magnolia Av; (3) in Parkway Plaza (Westfield Shoppingtowne Parkway), just north of I-8 at Magnolia Ave; (4) at Grossmont Center, off the I-8/SR 125 junction, in the Barnes & Noble. Grossmont Center also features a Panera coffeehouse.
Parking is on Johnson Avenue and off Grant Avenue.
San Marcos, CA:

From the northeast (or southeast), take Interstate 15 south (or north) to SR 78; go west (direction Oceanside). Exit at San Marcos Blvd. in the left lane. Turn left to cross under SR 78. Turn left at Grand Ave. and turn left immediately into the shopping center.
From Interstate 5 (the west), take SR 78 east (direction Escondido). Exit at San Marcos Blvd. Turn right from the offramp. Turn left at Grand Ave. and turn left immediately into the shopping center.
Panera is on the north side of the shopping center, almost immediately opposite Staples and right next to Phil’s BBQ.
Carlsbad, CA:

From the north or south, take Interstate 5. Exit at Leucadia Blvd. and turn west. Continue on Leucadia Blvd. past the golf course and San Diego Botanic Garden (used to be Quail Botanical Gardens).
At Calle Barcelona, turn left. The road goes steeply downhill. Panera is where it flattens out and begins to turn right.
If you miss Calle Barcelona, keep going on Leucadia Blvd. to El Camino Real; turn left there and turn left again onto the other end of Calle Barcelona.
